In July 2015, the Ltd "Argus Contact", the operator of the SMC "Globalstar" in Kazakhstan, put into operation three modern fixed satellite stations GSP-2800 on marine ships for military use. Specialists Ltd "Argus Contact" carried out a number of works on installation, commissioning and improvement of satellite equipment. Satellite station GSP-2800 provide connectivity between boats in the border area of the Caspian sea basin and military part, located on the coast.

Experimental operation of these stations showed a high voice quality, high reliability of connection of the communication channel regardless of weather conditions and effective execution of assigned tasks. In the future, it is envisaged to equip such satellite stations other boats carrying the watch in border waters of the Caspian sea.

Satellite station GSP-2800 are designed to work on remote sites as a stationary device and provide services of voice and data transmission in remote and uninhabited areas where terrestrial communications insufficient, or absent (for example, the oil and gas industry, forestry, construction companies, Maritime, mining companies and remote private objects).
