The Second-generation of Globalstar satellites put into operation and provide a full range of system services

To date, two-way communication services fully restored and in one of the recent publications Globalstar reported that the number of new subscribers duplex transmission of voice and data has doubled in the second quarter, and the number of usage minutes increased by 41%. The new network of company maintains its current lineup of voice, duplex and simplex data products and services, including his SPOT-branding consumer.

These new satellites have a rated lifetime - 15 years, which is twice more than duration of the life of the early running satellites to Globalstar. "Thanks to the most modern satellite network, Globalstar customers now will be in touch when it matters most, in emergencies, to continue the business, or to connect with a loved person," said Jay Monroe, Chairman and chief Executive officer of Globalstar.
